Acacia cognata 'Lime Magik'

'Lime Magik' has striking glowing lime green foliage and is a small Australian tree. It is pendulous in habit and produces a mass of soft pale yellow wattle flowers from late winter to early spring. It is an excellent small tree for creating contrast within the landscape. It is a magnificent feature specimen and can be used for screening in any garden.

Grows best in full sun to part shade and is adaptable to most well drained moist soils. Once established this plant will tolerate some frost.

This plant can be trimmed as required. It is best to initially feed with a slow release low phosphorus fertiliser to help establish the plant. It is beneficial to follow up with the occasional reapplication of fertiliser and apply as required. Mulching around the base of the plant will help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
